Recently I had the privilege of working with Mark Whitaker of Wine & Larder Bistro in Ashgrove, Brisbane on a custom range of small serving plates.

Below are some of the images of the plateware designs that were created for this restaurant. Each piece needed to be robust enough for purpose, food safe, dishwasher friendly, stackable yet created with individuality. The dark clay body was selected by Mark and pieces were designed to have a rustic organic style with a little bit of a Wabi-Sabi Japanese influence.
