Make your own miniature vase family

Get them off the screen these school holidays!

Learn to hand model, carve and decorate your own quirky family of miniature vases. Each person will be provided with a choice of clay bodies and hand tools to work from. Each student will be given enough clay to make at least a handful of miniature vases/objects, working at their own pace.

A portion of the class time will be allocated to final decoration weather that be through texture and carving or adding on colour clay paints.

After the class, the pieces will all be kiln fired twice and glaze applied according to how the student prefers, making them fully functional works.

Students work will be fired once they are completely dry and ready for collection approximately 3-4 weeks after the class. You will be notified via email when they are ready for collection.

Class size: Maximum 10 students to keep class small and adhere to covid restrictions.

Ages: Suitable for 12-17yrs only (High Schoolers)

About me

I’m Melanie, I live in The Gap with my husband and two daughters (ages 14 and 6yrs) and my dog.

I create ceramics for wholesaling to stores and sell direct to the public. I am fully insured for Liability and hold a current Blue Card for working with children.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unwell you can cancel your booking up to 48hrs to the class date for a full refund.

You are also welcome to re-gift your class to another person, just email me their details and I can arrange this for you. If they are paying, I can refund your spot once payment has been made for the replacement.
